Junior High and High School

Volunteers are the backbone of Rebelbase Student Ministry at The Woodlands UMC. We encourage our families to partner with us so that we are able to assist you in developing your child’s spiritual formation.

Our Culture is One That’s All About Jesus.

In Rebelbase Student Ministry, we go deeper into what it means to be His followers. We’re ready to move beyond the basics — we want to help students answer the question, “What’s next?” We want them to grow in their faith, take ownership of their relationships with Jesus and honor God with their lives.

Along with Crowded House, our awesome Sunday morning worship, we have life-changing Bible studies for Jr. High and Senior High students and amazing special events throughout the year. We’ll have a lot of fun because Jesus isn’t boring. Everything about Him is incredibly exciting. And so is life in Rebelbase.

Wednesday Bible Studies

NEON Junior High Bible Study

Wednesday nights | 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. NEON is a great way for students to get connected at Rebelbase. Our vision for junior high Bible study is that students would be made new through God’s Word and be connected to other believers.

SHIFT High School Bible Study

Wednesday nights | 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. At SHIFT, our Wednesday night Bible study, we want high school students to turn to Jesus. There are no gimmicks, no frills — just worship, the Word and community. Come Join us!

Crowded House

Crowded House is our loud, high-energy experience for students on Sunday mornings.

Everyone worships together, and afterward, students split into smaller groups to learn about Jesus and have some fun and fellowship with others their age.

We have two worship services starting at 9:30 and 11:00ish, but students often come early to grab coffee or a bite to eat and hang out.

Teen Sunday School: Where the Bible Meets Life

Sunday mornings | 11:00 a.m. – noon. This new "traditional style" Sunday school class for teens is sponsored by Student Ministries. The class will be led by a team of parents and start with a curriculum called The Gospel Project. Teens will study the Bible together and find biblical wisdom and responses to real life and every day issues. Teens will learn to apply God’s Word to their lives in an intentional way. They will also experience prayer, fellowship, teachings, and small group discussion through an ongoing curriculum.

Note: Registration is not required but we’d like to know if you are planning to attend and begin building the class roster. If you're interested in more information, please click for more information or email Libby Pike.

STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

Remix – Young Adults

REMIX serves teens with special needs from 7th grade through high school graduation. We offer Sunday morning programs as well as other social and recreational opportunities. Our desire is to share the love of Christ with your student and help them build Godly relationships that will last a lifetime.

We offer Sunday School at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. in the Loft Building, Room LN103. Students can mainstream into the 11:00 a.m. Rebelbase Youth program or attend one of our sensory-friendly classes at either 9:30 or 11:00 a.m with developmentally appropriate Bible lessons. Special Needs Ministry Volunteers and Interns are assigned to assist students in either program.
