Singles Co-ed Group for Singles

Our focus will be studies with DVDs or books that include some great discussion with them. To create community within the group, we meet off-campus to share a meal, bowling, etc. at the end of each study.

Starting on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 7:00p.m. in Room B109, David Blanchard will lead us through Four Major Bibilical Figures.

Many people come to church seeking transformation. However, we often feel as if there are things we can do for ourselves that will transform us into the likeness of Christ. The reality is that only God can transform the human heart. Scripture has much to say on transformation. There are several stories of individuals who transform in the Bible. Sometimes for the better, sometimes not.

During this six week course led by David Blanchard, we will explore the transformation of four major Biblical figures. We'll study Moses and his transformation from humble slave to leader of a new nation. King Saul was chosen to become the first king of Israel but his departure from God's ways led to his transformation into a paranoid and depressed tyrant. A closer look at St. Peter's life after Easter will illuminate the transformation of love that happened within his heart. Finally, we will study one of, if not the most, dramatic and total transformations in history, that of St. Paul. What can these stories show us about spiritual transformation? How can we encounter God to begin or continue our transformation into the likeness of Christ? Join us this January for Spiritual Transformation.
