Upward Soccer

Sat, Sep 28, 2019

Woodforest Campus

Upward is a uniquely designed total sports experience that adapts and expands as players grow in their personal athletic journeys. The Upward program develops total athletes mentally, athletically, spiritually, and socially – producing players who excel both on and off the field.

Through Upward we pride ourselves on creating a semi competitive environment for play that is developmentally appropriate, challenging, and conducive to learning. Through the program, coaches teach the skills and concepts of the game, but most importantly, promote the discovery of Jesus. Our Bible curriculum includes several memory verses per season that teach us important Biblical virtues.

Our Upward Soccer League offers opportunity for character-building, player development, and the formation of deep relationships between teammates and coaches. Our desire is for players to develop a love for soccer with a healthy competitive spirit, and discover skills necessary to succeed both on and off the field. The game format and rules are designed to teach the game at an age specific level that grows with each young athlete.

Teams are coed and split into developmentally appropriate age groupings. Teams are made as equally as possible based on ages, accommodations, and our league evaluations. We are very intentional about this process, we want every child to be appropriately challenged, feel as if they are in a safe place to learn and grow, and be given the opportunity to be as successful as possible.

Players will receive a reversible soccer jersey and a water bottle as part of this league.  Players must provide their own pair of solid black shorts for games. At the end of the season, each player will receive an Upward gift.

Cost: $125
