Sundays 7:00 - 8:15pm | January 12, 2020 - March 22, 2020Respectable Sins by Jerry Bridges Whatever happened to sin? Have we become so preoccupied with the major sins of our society that we have lost sight of our need to deal with our own more subtle sins? We will be using the book "Respectable Sins" by Jerry Bridges to look at specific "acceptable" sins that we tend to tolerate in ourselves - such as jealousy, anger, judgmentalism, selfishness, and pride. And we will learn how we can use the profound mercy of the gospel and the transforming grace and forgiveness of God as the means to overcome our "respectable sins." Participants will need to purchase either both the book "Respectable Sins" by Jerry Bridges and the separate discussion guide, or (the easier option) the all-in-one "Small Group Curriculum of Respectable Sins" which includes both the book and the discussion guide, which can all be found at online sites. Childcare available with registration.
