Project: Pack weekend meals which will be distributed to local school children and/or sort produce items donated to the Food Bank from local grocery stores.
The Montgomery County Food Bank collects and distributes food and resources to those in need in our community. We partner with Montgomery County Food Bank to provide food over the weekends during the school year for at-risk children in Montgomery County. Learn more at http://mcfoodbank.org.
Serve Time: 9:00 am - 12:00pm Total number of volunteers needed: 20 Prior to going to The Food Bank on October 5: Meet at 8:00 a.m. in the Harvest Worship Center for a Kick-off event Light continental breakfast Pick up T-shirts After the Kick-off, we will caravan to the Montgomery County Food Bank Address: 1 Food For Life Way, Conroe, TX 77385 Family Friendly Activity - children ages 7 and older Childcare is not provided for this offsite activity. A fee of $10.00 per person participating in Serve It Up is requested to help cover the cost of the materials for projects.
