Project: Decorate gift bags that will be given to children served through Angel Tree.
These bags will be used to make blessings bags full of Bibles and other treats for children with incarcerated parents. Color, paint, stamp, or sticker! Be creative and show the Christmas spirit. This project is appropriate for all ages.
Angel Tree is a ministry through Prison Fellowship which provides Christmas gifts for children who have an incarcerated parent. The parent must be participating in Prison Fellowship in order to be able to request gifts for his/her child.
Serve Time: 8:30 am - 12:00pm Total number of volunteers needed: 12 Schedule for September 28: Meet at 8:00 a.m. in the Harvest Worship Center for a Kick-off event Light continental breakfast Pick up T-shirts After the Kick-off, we will meet in a room on the Woodlands campusFamily Friendly Activity - children ages 7 and older Childcare is available for children 5 years and younger (8:00am - 12:00pm). A fee of $10.00 per person participating in Serve It Up is requested to help cover the cost of the materials for projects.
